Problem

No notification center

Important updates were missed because they disappeared too quickly.

Users often overlook system errors, resulting in a surge of support tickets.

Research

Target audience - by roles

Cloud administrators

Monitor system health and proactively address cloud issues.

“I need to know immediately if something goes wrong in the cloud—before users start reporting it.”

All roles

Track task progress and take timely action.

“If I don’t see a notification, I might miss an important step in my process.”

Competitor analysis

Google Workspace, Jira and Facebook influenced our Notification Center —
particularly in the use of clickable actions, tabs, relative timestamps, and clear iconography.

Solution

Phase 1 - Alerts

Alerts about the cloud health.
Visible only to cloud administrators.
Include actionable information to resolve issues.

Phase 2 - Updates

Notifications will cover updates relevant to all users.

Interface

I designed a dedicated alert component with icons and color-coded urgency.

Impact

Over 90% Engagement

Clearer communication

Refined based on real user feedback.

Drop in support tickets

Related to overlooked system issues.
